"Netflix is officially working on a sequel to action hit Extraction. News broke late on Monday (May 4) that writer Joe Russo has signed up with the streaming service to make a follow-up to its new movie, with star Chris Hemsworth and director Sam hargrave also likely to return.
"The deal is closed for me to write Extraction 2, and we are in the formative stages of what the story can be," Russo told Deadline."

“You’re a little bit too much in the eye of the storm
 when you’re living in Hollywood,” he said.
