Hypnotic Regression and Jumanji: The Next Level?

The Unexplained podcast:
Edition 453 - Steve Burgess
Would The Rock be too stoned to undergo hypnosis?-)
I had to smile as I was listening to Howard Hughes talk to Steve Burgess about just what hypnosis is and how it works, while I was writing up a post featuring the movie I had just seen last weekend at the drive-in in this recent post -
You Can't Have Your Cake and Eat it Too ... in Lock-down?
Kevin Hart on the drive-in screen in Jumanji 2
Steve says in the podcast that if you were too drunk, stoned, or mentally subnormal you probably couldn't be hypnotized, so I guess that explains why nobody can put me into a trance:-)
But Steve mentions that people often go into light trance when driving, or watching TV.

Danny DeVito in Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)
So, I wonder if you can go into light trance while driving to the drive-in and back, after watching a movie on a screen about a game played on a TV  screen?-)
Karen Gillan on the drive-in screen in Jumanji 2
Snap out of it guys ... and some of you gals:-)
Jack Black at an event for Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)
Hungry yet and want something from the snack bar?
And no, that's not a Pizza-gate reference to you losers out there who believe in that crap.
But we all like a good story I guess, no matter how unbelievable it is, right?-)
I even mentioned Steve Burgess being on a podcast called 'Life, Death and the Space Between' in my post about Sam Neill -
Early On He Decided He Really Wasn't a NIGEL, He Was a SAM and Changed His Name?
Rhys Darby in Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) as Nigel?
I found it amusing that a New Zealand actor plays a guy named Nigel in Jumanji;-)
I couldn't help thinking how the movie 'Jumanji: The Next Level' seemed to be a good analogy for these past life hypnotic regressions Steve talks about in the podcast, especially when he mentions people changing sexes from life to life, and how some even recall past lives as animals.
One guy Steve recalls claimed to be a rock in a past life.
That's a rock, not The Rock, by the way:-)
Is The Rock stoned again?-)
Who knows what to believe when it comes to past life regression, I guess?
Drive safely and keep those eyes on the road when driving home from the drive-in late at night.
And ignore those owls/alins that you might recall seeing later, too:-)
