I used to love the taste of duck in the evening ... or lunchtime, until I went to Hobart in 2016 and made friends with some local ducks that hung around outside the casino -

I haven't eaten duck since my 2016 road-trip, and duck was my favourite meat of all on the menu at the time.

Timing is everything, as last night when I picked up my 'Talk to Me' book of Allison DuBois' to read from where I had left off I read this section of her book where Allison recalls her grandmother telling her to feed the ducks with KFC.

Luckily for the ducks (unless they have Armie Hammer type food fetish fantasies) Allison didn't do it.

Which reminds me that I still have to buy and read

I was up at my local fish and chip shop getting just

minimum chips the other day and wondered if displaying live fish in an aquarium was such a good idea when you want people eating fish ... and chips?-)

Not that it was putting me off eating fish though, even if I was only buying minimum chips on the day.
