I had to laugh when I stumbled across Gary Lachman as a guest on episode 69 of the 'Our Fake History' podcast when I know that Gary had written a book about Aleister Crowley, as well as Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.

And that (fake?) history tells us that chapter 69 of Crowley's 'The Book of Lies' was why he was asked to become a member of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.).

I would imagine that it wasn't intentional for the podcast host giving some kind of a Crowleyian wink to the chapter 69 of 'The Book of Lies' mythistory surrounding Crowley's magickal career ... but I guess only he knows the real history behind the numbering of his podcast episodes, right?-)

I found a heap of interesting podcast shows when doing a podcast search for podcasts on Theosophy and Gary Lachman, including a podcast show called 'CULTure' that did a couple of episodes about Crowley and one on Theosophy, not that they seemed to know much at all about either, apart from some personal observations and speculations.

Don't you just love listening to our fake history and CULTure ... or do you think that it sucks, too?-)
