The Shape and Weight of Water as Time MARCHes On?

I saw this newspaper article below about the death of 'The Weight of Water' author Anita Shreve, who passed away on March 29th, 2018 after a battle with cancer.
'The Weight of Water' is a 1997 bestselling novel which is set in modern day America and also harks back to the murders of two girls in March 1873.
Kathryn Bigelow directed the film version of the book and would go on to win an Academy Award for Best Director for 'The Hurt Locker' in March 2010, becoming the first ever woman to do so.
And 'The Hurt Locker' won the best picture Oscar, also.
In March 2018, 'The Shape of Water' would win the Best Director and film Oscars and be the month Anita Shreve would pass away also.
I don't know about the shape and weight of water, but there certainly is a March theme flowing through this post, as far as these water connections go.
2018 and that Sinking/Synching Feeling?
