The Life to Come?

I saw in the news tonight that Michelle de Kretser had won the Miles Franklin Literary Award for her novel The Life to Come.

I caught half of the 'Revelations' talk that Michelle de Kretser, Ceridwen Dovey and Caroline Baum took part in, before I had to head off to catch Micheline Jenner's talk 'The Secret Life of Whales'.

I would have liked to have stayed to hear all of the 'Revelations' talk that Michelle de Kretser took part in, but such is life at a writers festival when six talks are going on all at once and you don't know which life to choose between.
