The Life of Charlotte BrontΓ« by Elizabeth Gaskell?πŸ‘»πŸ‘»

I find it amusing how author's lives become the storytelling for other authors to write about and even sometimes get turned into movies or TV mini-series, and the authors become a semi-fictional pop-cultural icon themselves.
Because no matter how hard you try to write the life story of an author (or anybody for that matter) it will never be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Such is life ... or writing about someone's life, I guess?

I was surprised to find that Elizabeth Gaskell, the author of such books as 'Cranford' and 'North and South' has written a book about the life of fellow author Charlotte BrontΓ«, who is the author of 'Jane Eyre' and 'Villette' and one of the famous BrontΓ« sisters.
"In 2017, The Guardian named The Life of Charlotte BrontΓ« one of the 100 best nonfiction books of all time."
But I'll wait for the movie or mini-series to come out about Charlotte, I think:-)
