Life/Death and Sticking a Neck Out for a Movie?

I wrote a post in March this year where I said that you would never catch me standing next to a giraffe again after watching them fight each other in the movie 'Earth: One Amazing Day'.
One Amazing Day at the Cinema
And today I see that feeling of mine about the dangers of giraffes was justified when I see that filmmaker Carlos Carvalho was killed from a giraffe headbutting him.

But the cinema isn't a safe place either when it comes to sticking your neck out and freak deadly accidents, going by the above news story from March this year -
Man Dies After Getting Head Stuck in Movie Theater Seat
I guess life doesn't make much sense from down here until we can see the bigger picture?
Metaphorical pun not really intended here, but it's kind of true though under these circumstances, although of no comfort to the victims family and friends when trying to fathom it all out on the ground.
This day is all we really have, as tomorrow is no given and death can strike us down in the least expected of ways making no sense ... it seems.
