Ride Like the Wind and Think of Laura?

2020 is the 40th anniversary of the release of the Christopher Cross' song 'Ride Like the Wind' off his self-titled album 'Christopher Cross' and 'Sailing' off the same album turned 40 this year also.

But 2020 hasn't been plain sailing for Chris as on April 3, 2020, Cross confirmed through his Facebook page that he had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, and was ill, but is recovering.
Cross later reported on Twitter that he has lost the use of his legs, but his doctors have told him he should fully recover.
Physicians told him his COVID-19 disease triggered an episode of Guillain–Barré syndrome that caused the nerves in his legs to stop functioning properly.

Hurricane Laura?

Eerily, Chris would have a track off his following album 'Another Page' called 'Think of Laura' which of course just happens to be the name of a vicious 2020 hurricane.

At around the time Hurricane Laura made landfall a wild winter storm struck Melbourne, Australia killing three people.

In 2020 I can't help thinking what the next turn of the world will bring.
