I hadn't heard of the 'Happy Hour' podcast until doing a podcast search for the show when I had read the story in the
Father's Day edition of the Queensland newspaper pictured above.
I hadn't realized Pete had died on November 5th, I shouldn't forget to remember now.
He was only a few months older than me, so had we have gone to school together we would have been in the same grade, which kind of puts things into a personal perspective when hearing about his school days on the Gold Coast.

And in the same newspaper just a turn of the page away was a news story about the passing of their mother on September 1st, 2021, which is rather bizarre timing considering that Lucy's episode about the passing of her father was posted to Apple Podcasts on August 31st, 2021.

Twin Towns Services Club asking me if I wanted to buy pre-sale tickets to 'The Veronicas' show and I remember thinking that I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall, but not an old guy in the hall.
I have no idea whether that show actually went ahead with all of the lock-downs we have had on both sides of the Queensland/New South Wales state border this year ... but it was probably all written in the stars, right?
Hadn't herd about the Veronicas...
