Synchromysticism

" Synchromysticism:
The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance."

Countdown to 2022?

I've got a yellow theme running this year:-)
Yellowglen Champagne Sparkling Wine turns 50?
Who needs the French stuff  anyway for 2022?
Just a little over 10 mins left in 2021 now in Queensland
I hate NSW being an hour ahead of Queensland
Bound for the recycling bin tomorrow  today:-)
Groundhog Day?
These Days Were Nothing Like Those Days?
The Chocolate Cake Wiggle?-)
I am not a synesthete, so I was wondering in a synchromystic sense why I felt drawn to the colour
yellow this New Years Eve, as it's not exactly one of my favourite colours (Sky Blue is my favourite colour if I had to pick one colour, which of course I don't have to:-), and why do Asians think that red will ward off the evil spirits, when in pop-cultural terms red is usually depicted in art as the colour of demons and mythical figures like the Devil?
Both Warner Bros. and Coldplay were initially opposed to using the song, but director Jon M. Chu convinced them otherwise, adding that "a white director couldn't do it," but he could.
Coldplay was convinced after Chu wrote a moving letter to the band."
'Yellow' turned 21 in 2021?
""Yellow" has been called a post-Britpop song.
Martin has explained, "'Yellow' refers to the mood of the band. Brightness and hope and devotion."
The references in some of the lyrics, including swimming and drawing a line, "are all metaphorical slants on the extent of his emotional devotion".
The drawing of a line refers to Martin's habit of writing lists, and underlining those important things on the list.
Martin has commented that the song is about devotion, referring to his unrequited love for someone or something.
Despite its lyrical theme, many fans have considered "Yellow" to be an upbeat track, although it is often interpreted as melancholy as well.
The song is written in the key of B major with a tempo of 88 beats per minute."
I have to mention that it doesn't seem like a very auspicious sign for the new year when the Australian national broadcaster ends the mid-night fireworks with a pre-recorded video of the cast of the Moulin Rouge stage musical singing Auld Lange Syne when their Friday performance was called off because of a positive Covid result.
Packed Regent Theatre told to leave midway through Moulin Rouge performance
I see Sky Blue ... and it makes me happy:-)
When I got up at 9 this morning I had one doughnut and some more GOLD :-)
Anyway, whatever colour you see, hear or feel this year ...
Happy New Year, and cheers:-)
