Synchronicity in Psychotherapy?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ... beetles
Because of Carl Jung and his theory and story about the scarab like beetle that he noticed while treating a patient of his who was telling him at the time about a dream she had about a scarab beetle (a story that anyone who has been interested in the subject of synchronicity would be as sick of hearing by now as much as Mike Clelland's owl/synchronicity story).
Scarab like beetles are almost an archetypal symbol for synchronicity.
Maybe Mike's mission in life is to replace the scarab beetle of Jung's story about synchronicity with his owl from his own synchronicity story, as an archetype for synchronicity?-)

Actually, I didn't mind this last interview of Mike's that Althea Provost did with him below.
She may have just helped him to get into gear and stop spinning his wheels so much on his journey I feel.
Sun of the Night?
A book I saw in the QAGOMA bookstore;-)
Anyway, I'll come back to Mike's latest interview in a future post, but getting back to the scarab beetle, last Sunday I went over to the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art to have a look at the latest exhibition and as I was walking past the State Library of Queensland I see all of these ... what we call in Australia ... Christmas beetles all over the wall.
In Australia Christmas is in the summertime and these beetles tend to hit the skies around Christmastime.

It Must Be Time to Put Up the Christmas Decorations
Listening to Mike's latest interview after rereading my old 2015 post about the Christmas beetle that flew into the spider's web while I was dressed in camouflage/battle fatigue pants reminded me of the above print I saw on the wall of the Gallery of Modern Art on Sunday.
It was called 'Battle Fatigue' and reminded me a lot like the cover of 'The Who''s record 'Tommy'.

Dolores from the TV series 'Westworld'
Listening to Mike recall his encounter in Dolores, Colorado, he talks of a dream where he felt like a grenade had been tossed at him into his tent.
Analysis/Synthesis?
When I heard Mike talk about his dream in Dolores, Colorado, I couldn't help think of Dolores from 'Westworld' and how 'Black Hole Sun' is one of the first songs played on the pianola in the first episode.
Pianos in the QAGOMA exhibition I saw on Sunday
Mike also talks about landing in a white room where it was completely white, which I find amusing as I was wearing a white linen shirt on my trip to the art gallery on Sunday and this piece of art pictured above called 'White Box' caught my attention enough to snap a few photos of it.
And I hadn't heard Mike's interview until this morning (Friday the 14th in Australia).

Green eyes?!
I didn't realize until later that afternoon at the art gallery on Sunday that Netflix were holding a 'Tidelands' launch that night and the green-eyed siren Elsa Pataky was to be walking the
blue carpet there.
Not that I hung around to see her do it ... or would have been allowed to.

And I hope your Christmas unlike a dung beetle's, won't be a shitty one;-)
