The Red Hand [X-]Files?

Last week when I was watching my way through season 2 of

'The X-Files' I was pleasantly surprised to hear Nick Cave's song

'Red Right Hand' featured in the episode named

'Ascension'.

'Red Right Hand' starts playing on the killer's radio as he is about to be pulled over by a police officer, while Scully is in the boot of the killer's car.

But, it's the killer's red left hand the gives the game away to the police officer in that X-Files episode.

Makes me wonder how much influence Nick's art had on

'The X-Files' season 2 and its story-lines?
"The liner notes for Murder Ballads point out that the phrase

"red right hand" is from a line in John Milton's epic poem

Paradise Lost that refers to divine vengeance."

I got into Nick Cave's art more or less in 2016 when I stumbled across Nick's book 'The Sick Bag Song', just after my first ever sea voyage across a notorious stretch of water, as far as UFO sightings go -

'The World' Loses Hope?

With 2020 hindsight, a ship named 'The World' losing its anchor in Port Arthur, Tasmania in 2017, was never a good sign for the future of the cruising industry, was it now?
