"Defined as 'false, often sensational, information disseminated under the guise of news reporting', 'fake news' will now be added to the next print edition of Collins Dictionary." I mean "fake news" is two words the last time I went to school, which I know was a long time ago, but surely "fake news" is still two words?
But when you have Rupert Murdoch owned newspapers that only seem to care about how bad a pun their cadet journalists can make out of a front-page headline, then I guess a term made popular by a Trumped up president can make "word" of the year.
Donald Trump just claimed he invented 'fake news'
Maybe "WTF News" will be the Collin's "word" for 2018?-)
