Charlie Don't Surf?!

I recently wrote a post about Charles Manson dying on the 19th of November this year -
Charles Manson Dies on Mitzvah Day?!
And in that post was a shot of the Queensland 'Courier Mail' newspaper (above) of November 19th, 2017 with Margot Robbie, who is rumoured to be playing Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's next movie about the Manson murders.
Next to the picture of Margot Robbie in the newspaper was a headline the read 'Stinging attack aimed at Surfers'.
"Charlie Don't Surf is a famous line from the 1979 film Apocalypse Now, spoken by Lt. Col. Kilgore as justification for taking a beach at the Mekong Delta so the American soldiers could go surfing.
American soldiers referred to the Viet Cong as "Victor Charlie" or simply as "V-C." "Victor" and "Charlie" are both letters in the NATO phonetic alphabet, corresponding to 'V' and 'C', respectively.
"Charlie," when used alone, referred to communist forces in general, both Việt Cα»™ng and Vietnamese."
"Charlie Don't Surf", is also a song by The Clash from their album Sandinista!
Seeing the newspaper with Margot Robbie and the Surfer's headline which referred to a Gold Coast suburb named Surfer's Paradise on the day Charlie died (we are nearly a day ahead of the United States in Australia, so Manson probably hadn't died when the paper came off the press) got me to thinking back to the 2014 Sync Summit where Violator Hellspawn was pulled up on stage while he was wearing a "Charlie Don't Surf" t-shirt -
Sync Summit Synopsis
"It was already a significant weekend in light of the 45th anniversary (1969) of the Abbey Road photo and the Manson murders."

You can watch the segment of the 2014 Sync Summit involving Violator Hellspawn and his "Charlie Don't Surf" t-shirt in the You Tube below, but
Syncnado 2: The Second One or: The Jungian Thing
Charlie may not be able to surf, but he sure sinks ... I mean syncs ... even when he is not here anymore.
Axl Rose Charlie Don´t Surf
I wonder if they make "Charlie Don't Surf" (Full Metal) Jackets as well?-)
