Scorn heard around the world
"Philippe Petit (French pronunciation: [filip pΙti]; born 13 August 1949) is a French high-wire artist who gained fame for his high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, on the morning of August 7, 1974 as well as his high wire walk between the towers of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, 1971."

This is not a real picture of a black hole, by the way;-) |
And on the subject of "Hellboy", there was this article about Israel Folau's hell rant in the April 12th, 2019, Australian newspaper.
Israel Folau's sacking from rugby union isn't the end. Sport must deal with conflicting human rights
Brian was played by the late homosexual actor Graham Chapman, ironically enough, who has been dead 30 years this year.
"In his personal life, Chapman was openly homosexual and a strong supporter of gay rights, and was in a relationship with David Sherlock.
He was an alcoholic during his time at Cambridge and the Python years, but quit drinking shortly before working on Life of Brian.
He later became an enthusiast and patron of the Dangerous Sports Club.
Chapman died of tonsil cancer on 4 October 1989, on the eve of Monty Python's 20th anniversary, and his life and legacy were commemorated at a private memorial service at St Bartholomew's with the other five Pythons."
And as Jake Kotze points out at his Instagram account, the Notre Dame fire resonates as a 'Dark Phoenix' event.

The beast of April 12th, 2019? |
Black hole/April 15th? |
My hometown of Brisbane and the newspaper above is 8 hours ahead of Paris time, by the way.
To add to the coincidence, the Al-Asqa mosque had a minor fire at the same time as Notre Dame was burning. Which reminds me vividly of the movie Mission Impossible:Fallout, where the Vatican, Temple Mount and Mecca appear to get nuked (but then it turns out it was a false report). I'd watch out for reports of fires in other mosques.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard about the Al-Asqa mosque Maria, but I've been asleep for the last eight hours.
