I've never read Wayne Dyer's second book 'Pulling Your Own Strings', but I was reading chapter 36 of Wayne's book 'I Can See Clearly Now' where he writes about hearing about the death of Elvis back in 1977 when touring Australia to promote his first book 'Your Erroneous Zones' and that's when he got the idea to write 'Pulling Your Own Strings'.
Wayne writes in 'I can See Clearly Now' about being on Dinah Shore's TV show to promote the book and how he ended up being good friends with Dinah and landing a weekly gig on her show.
Dinah passed away 25 years ago in 1994, so it's been 25 years since her passing this year, so there's one more anniversary for 2019 to go with the ones I wrote about in my last post -
Throw Another Barbie on the Barbie?Dinah Shore's first movie role |
I notice that Dinah played herself in the 1977 movie 'Oh, God', also starring George Burns and John Denver.
I notice ironically that John Denver died in a plane crash 20 years after 'Oh, God' came out, and on the "great beast's" birthday of October 12th and 50 years after Crowley died.
John Denver and George Burns in 'Oh, God' |
Probably not hard to guess what John's last words were when his plane hit the ocean.
John was born in Roswell, New Mexico, which I found interesting, as he stars with Teri Garr in 'Oh, God', who played his wife in that movie, and she also starred in another 1977 hit about UFOs, 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'.
Teri wasn't born in Roswell like John was, but she was born in 1947, which was the same year of the alleged Roswell incident.

I guess if you travel down enough strange rabbit holes you start to wonder if you really are pulling your own strings or not;-)

Human Initiated Contact Experiences (HICE) or Just Theater of the Mind?
I guess it's always fun to believe that we can pull our own strings to a certain degree, right?-)
A creepy black-eyed puppet don't you think;-) |
So good luck with that string pulling that you think you are doing, as something or someone are always trying to pull them for you.
