Whitley Strieber: The TRUTH is "Out There"?

I listened to the latest 'Truth Be Told' podcast in the You Tube above with Whitley Strieber this morning and it's just another layer to the Strieber onion to me.
I've written about Whitley Strieber many times before on this blog, as I find him a fascinating modern pop-cultural figure, whether he is telling the truth (or thinks that he is) or not -

    Long before I met Strieber in person, I was captivated by his books. I've never doubted that he's telling the truth, relating his experiences, as he perceives them.

    I have no doubt Whitley thinks he is telling the truth Trish, I just wonder what the truth is behind what Whitley believes he is telling.
    Although that could apply to any human being on the planet with a story about their perceived truth, couldn't it?
