The Unexplained Ending in 2020?

I just listened to the latest 'The Unexplained' podcast, where Howard Hughes tells the sad news of  the radio he has been doing for many years may be getting the chop this year -

An exclusive New Year Special with Paul Sinclair - and an update on his excellent Truth Proof research about weird happenings in East Yorkshire...

I hope his radio show keeps going, but if it doesn't I hope that he keeps the podcast going at least.
Having just listened to the 23 available episodes of the BBC podcast I wrote about in this recent post -

I couldn't help wondering if the BBC have been inspired by podcasts such as Howard's?
And this stuff Paul Sinclair talks about in the latest
'The Unexplained' podcast sounds a lot like the stuff covered in the BBC fictional pod-cast series.
