Coronavirus: Crown = “Corona” in Latin?

Some interesting examples by Goro in his latest free post at his 'Super Torch Ritual' blog, relating to Corona/Crown and
Catholic Church from as early as the 8th century to the mid-20th.
It was last used by Pope Paul VI in 1963 and only at the beginning of his reign.
The name "tiara" refers to the entire headpiece, no matter how many crowns, circlets or diadems have adorned it through the ages, while the three-tiered form that it took in the 14th century is also called the triregnum, triple tiara, or triple crown.
From 1143 to 1963, the papal tiara was solemnly placed on the pope's head during a papal coronation.
The surviving papal tiaras are all in the triple form, the oldest being of 1572.
A representation of the triregnum combined with two crossed keys of Saint Peter continues to be used as a symbol of the papacy and appears on papal documents, buildings and insignia."

Living in a FANTA See?-)
RATS spelled backwards is STAR (corona/sun/star/rats?)

UPDATE: January 30th, 2020
I guess it was always just a matter of time until the cheap
Mexican beer jokes started flowing.
New Zealand bar slammed for cashing in on coronavirus
Cheers and remember to drink and joke responsibly.
Don't bartenders usually serve Coronas with a slice of lime or lemon?
And we know vitamin C is good for strengthening the immune system, so there is some synchromystic irony right there I think:-)
RATS spelled backwards is STAR

Cheers.

  2. I'm not a fan of that blogger's world views to be honest Maria.
A number of times he has left some real bonkers comments on my blog, which makes me question his sanity.
But I guess some readers might say that is a case of the pot calling the kettle black:-)
