Tom Long Has Left the Building?

Tom Long in 'The Dish
May the 4th be with you?
I saw the sad news of the passing of Tom Long who starred in such movies as 'The Dish' and 'Two Hands', among others.
Tom plays Wally in 'Two Hands' and can be seen in the
SPOILER ALERT ending of the movie in the You Tube below, set to Powderfinger's song 'These Days'.
The town of Parkes where 'The Dish' is located holds its annual Parkes Elvis Festival this week, which this year runs from Elvis' birthday of January 8th (and David Bowie's, too) to January 12th, 2020.
Things Go Better with cOKe?
Tom Long passed away on January 4th, 2020, just four days short of the start of this year's Elvis event in Parkes.
Ironically, Tom was born in August and passed away in January, while Elvis was born in January and passed away in August ... at the age of 42.
In another cosmic coincidence the movie 'The Dish' was released on May 11th, 2001 in the UK, which is Douglas Adams' place of birth, and that was the day Doug passed away from a heart attack.
'The Dish' was released in the USA in a limited release on
Albert Einstein's birthday of March 14th, which is also the date Stephen Hawking would pass away on years into the future.
And HawKING was born on 'The King''s birthday of January 8th, but seven years later in 1942 and five years before Bowie, who was born on that date in 1947.
'The Dish'
The date of May the 4th, today known as 'Star Wars Day' was when it 'The Dish' had its major USA release, before being released on May 11th, 2001 in the UK.
Tom Long may have left the building, but who knows just what's outside of that building?
