50 years ago in 1969 there was a brief appearance of a young David Bowie in Ridley Scott's TV commercial for "Luv" ice cream and 1969 was also the year Bowie released 'Space Oddity'.

I guess the summer of '69 is going way back to the future when it comes to ice cream and space travel.
