Climate, Changes and Cancellations?

Rugby World Cup blockbuster between France and England cancelled due to Super Typhoon Hagibis
How did it start?
Dagaz – Rune Meaning
I listened to Gordon White's rant at his 'Rune Soup' podcast this morning (the You Tube above) ironically enough and also to a podcast from a former Welsh Rugby player, which my last post was about -
A Journey of Self Inquiry from Travel, Plant Medicine & Letting Go?
"The Pacific side of western and eastern Japan may see torrential rains from Friday until the typhoon passes, and the agency warned of floods caused by the high waves and tides.
Tournament rules state that games cancelled due to weather will be registered as 0-0 draws, meaning France (13 points) will lose the opportunity to leapfrog England (15 points) to win the group.
With Australia almost certain to finish second in
Pool :D, the Wallabies' quarter-final opponents will be England, while France will play Wales.
The Wallabies are expected to beat Georgia in Shizuoka on Friday night, in a game that will not be affected by the typhoon.
"This is a complex and dynamic situation which we have been monitoring extremely closely with the assistance of our weather information
experts," World Rugby chief operating officer and tournament director Alan Gilpin said.
"We are now in a position to accurately predict the likely impact of Typhoon Hagibis on
Rugby World Cup fixtures this weekend.
"While making every possible effort to put in place a contingency plan that would enable all of Saturday's matches to be played, it would be grossly irresponsible to leave teams, fans, volunteers and other tournament personnel exposed during what is predicted to be a severe typhoon.
"As a result, we have taken the decision to cancel some matches in order to ensure the safety of all involved.

It is the right thing to do, and comes with the support of all stakeholders, including the teams."
