Synchronicity, Mania and Music?

CCBB: Kiana Fitzgerald - Synchronicity, Mania and Music
"Kiana Fitzgerald is a music journalist, cultural critic, and DJ.
Her work has appeared in Rolling Stone, NPR, The Fader, Complex, Bitch Media, Vibe Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine, and other digital and print publications.
She currently freelances from her brownstone in Brooklyn, New York.
A native Texan, Kiana attended Texas State University, where she received a bachelor's in print journalism in 2011, and a master's in new media in 2013.
Aside from writing and DJing, she’s also worked as a researcher, social media strategist, podcast producer, office receptionist, and web developer.
She was diagnosed as bipolar I in 2016 after a manic episode, and has since been searching for answers about the spiritual elements that have revealed themselves through the disorder."
I liked this podcast even though Hip-Hop is not my cup of tea as far as music goes.
I also couldn't help thinking of the Manic Street Preachers, a Welsh rock band formed in Blackwood in 1986.
Their music isn't my cup of tea, either, but what a great name for a band.
"The origin of the band's name remains unclear, but the most often-told story relates that Bradfield, while busking one day in Cardiff, got into an altercation with someone (sometimes said to be a homeless man) who asked him
"What are you, boyo, some kind of manic street preacher?""
"Manic Street Preachers' music has been variously described as alternative rockhard rockpunk rockglam rock, and pop rock.
According to their AllMusic biography, the band were fashioning themselves after the Clash and the Sex Pistols, attempting to restore revolution to rock music "at a time when Britain was dominated by trancey shoegazers and faceless, trippy acid house."
Hey, where is the island state of Tasmania?-)
"The sentiment of the song is that Australia is just about the furthest one can go to get away from their home in Wales and is a metaphor for Nicky Wire's desire to escape from the emotional turmoil caused by the disappearance of his close friend and co-lyricist, Richey Edwards.
Though Australia is almost the furthest one can get from Wales, New Zealand is actually an additional 2,000 kilometers
(1,340 miles) further away."
So, for Australians like me we would have to go to Wales to achieve the same purpose?
I guess that would be better than going to New Zealand though?-)
Joaquin Phoenix in Joker (2019)
I find it amusing that the single 'Design for Life' was released on April 15th, which is the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic:-)
And came out the year before the hit 1997 movie 'Titanic'.
