Fungi, Trees and the Trippy World of Humans?

HOW AND WHY TO DO MUSHROOMS
It's been a trippy week for me personally in my synchromystic eyes and I haven't even had any mushrooms ... ever ... well not those kind of mushrooms anyway.
It all started when I listened just over a week ago to Gordon White at 'Rune Soup' talk to Dr Monica Gagliano about her book on plant communication -
Thus Spoke the Plant?
Then I heard a talk featuring Monica again on the ABC's 'Big Ideas' podcast during the week -
Can trees talk and think?
Then there was this weird tree story in the news during the week where I'll bet that young boy pictured above had wished that the tree had have communicated to him that it was going to pop back up again -
12yo Queensland boy was crushed under fallen tree that sprang upright after severe storm
Then the next day I listened to another podcast at ABC's 'Big Ideas' podcast about fungi -
Fungi for a healthy planet
I had already written a post about an American actress named Denise DuBarry who passed away from a rare fungal disease -
Denise DuBarry and the 23 Enigma?
And on the subject of trees, Denise was in the Peter Sellers movie 'Being There' where Sellers plays a gardener called Chance.
Denise was also reported to be known for appearing on the TV show 'The Love Boat' and around the time of her passing a Norwegian cruise liner was in the news, too.
Then Gordon White posts his latest podcast for people outside of Australia in the countries where mushrooms are legal to trip on, right Gordon?-)
Who needs to take mushrooms to trip out in this weird world that we live in?-)
