Throw the Facebook at "Them"?

How prophetically timed was this news story?
I read in my local Australian newspaper this story above that was printed on March 13th, 2019, where the world wide web creator Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee OM KBE FRS FREng FRSA FBCS, also known as TimBL called for a fight against crime and hatred on the WWW right before things went really pear shaped (or should that be Pie shaped?) the following weekend when some prick went and murdered 50 people in Christchurch and live-streamed the whole thing to Facebook.

Which provoked this headline on the front of the same newspaper on the March 26th, 2019.
And these sort of empty threats from the Australian PM who is desperately trying to win votes in the upcoming national election to save his rapidly sinking party's ship.

Then there was this incident above where truth be known this paparazzi guy was probably just trying to sell his best "up-skirt photo" to the Australian media anyway, if you look at previous photos that have appeared in the sports section (which is mainly read by a male audience), as in the one I wrote about in this old post of mine -

Personally, I can't stand Facebook and shut down my account years ago now, but like Chris Knowles at 'The Secret Sun' blog writes in his latest post, things in the political arena aren't just going pear shaped, they're going bananas
