Well, what a coincidence, I listened to two recent podcasts that were uploaded to the net this week featuring authors WHO had written books featuring birds on the cover.
I had also watched the movie 'Jonathan Livingstone Seagull' this week, as I had finished Richard Bach's 'A Gift of Wings' and was thinking about buying and reading the new ending Richard wrote for JLS after his NDE from Richard's near fatal plane crash.
But that's for another post, so that this post doesn't become novel length.

The first podcast I listened to was the 'Connecting with Coincidence' podcast (the You Tube above) featuring author John Ironmonger discussing his book 'Coincidence' -

The second podcast featured the author Sharon Hewitt Rawlette discussing her book 'The Source and Significance of Coincidences: A Hard Look at the Astonishing Evidence' with Mike Clelland, who is also the author of a book about synchronicity/coincidence called
'The Messengers' -

I haven't read any of these books yet, even though I did buy a hard copy of 'The Messengers' a while back, but I've only flicked through it at this point in time.

But the book I really want to read now after recent events is 

John Ironmonger's novel 'Not Forgetting the Whale'.

Two Whale Tales Involving Two London Bridges on Black Friday?

The ball of debris found in the whale included "sections of net, bundles of rope, plastic cups, bags, gloves, packing straps and tubing," according to whale experts

I found it interesting that John Ironomnger (according to the above book review at the Goodreads site) starts his novel 'Coincidence' off on the day that the Duke of Cambridge was born.

Hmm ... a unicorn horn on the Duke of Cambridge's coat of arms?-)

And I find it a bit of a coincidence that the same day a whale washes up on the banks of the Thames river under a bridge, a fatal event took place further up/down the same river on another bridge where some convicts got loose from Cambridge's Fishmonger's Hall after one nut stabbed two people to death and then was chased down onto London Bridge by another murderer and a cook who grabbed a whale tusk (whale tusks which were thought to be where the unicorn horn myth came from) to hold the current murderer at bay, just before cops shot the guy on the bridge.

Some fishy coincidences going on here, or what ... or WHO?-)
