The Synchromystic Arts and Whatever Happened to Steve Willner?

42 Minutes Episode 17:
Steve Willner
& Jake Kotze
Steve Willner
I was listening to an early episode of '42 Minutes' about synchromysticism with 'Sync Book' #1 authors Jake Kotze and
Steve Willner and thought it was amusing that as soon as Doug asks Steve if he will ever make another sync video he disappears from the chat for a few minutes and Doug is forced to take up the conversation with Jake until Steve comes back into the podcast.
Doug asks Jake about Steve's chapter in 'The Sync Book' where Steve mention pi being in the word conspiracy and Jake says that's funny because he was staring at a Pilates ball box of his roommate's that was in the room with and he was looking at the pi in Pilates.
Jake then talks about the number 227 with 22 over 7 being a close approximation of the number pi.
22/7 is the approximate value of pi as a fraction but the exact value of pi has never been determined.
"This series took place in an apartment building numbered 227.
The cast would frequently be sitting outside on a large set of stone stairs, involved in some discussion that would unfold into the weekly plot-line."
"Life of Pi is a Canadian fantasy adventure novel by Yann Martel published in 2001.
The protagonist is Piscine Molitor "Pi" Patel, an Indian Tamil boy from Pondicherry who explores issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age.
He survives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tigernamed Richard Parker."

An exercise ball, also known as a Swiss Ball
"Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named. Pilates called his method "Contrology".
It is practiced worldwide, especially in Western countries such as Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
As of 2005, there were 11 million people practicing the discipline regularly and 14,000 instructors in the United States."
Died in New York City?
"Joseph Hubertus Pilates (December 9, 1883 – October 9, 1967) was a German-American physical trainer, notable for having invented and promoted the Pilates method of physical fitness."
Published on 9/11?!
"The novel 'Life of Pi' has sold more than ten million copies worldwide.
It was rejected by at least five London publishing houses before being accepted by Knopf Canada, which published it in [11th] September 2001.
The UK edition won the Man Booker Prize for Fiction the following year.
In 2012 it was adapted into a feature film directed by Ang Lee with a screenplay by David Magee."
42 Minutes Episode 6: Jake Kotze & Jim Sanders
"In Canada, a young writer meets Pi Patel; The writer has been told that Pi's life story would be a good subject for a book.
Pi tells his story to him:
Pi's father names him Piscine Molitor Patel after

the swimming pool in France.
Piscine Molitor
In secondary school in Pondicherry, he adopts the name "Pi" (the Greek letter, Ο€) to avoid the sound-alike nickname "Pissing Patel".
He is raised in a Hindu family, but at 12 years old, is introduced to Christianity and then Islam, and decides to follow all three religions as he "just wants to love God".
His mother supports his desire to grow, but his rationalist father tries to secularize him.
Pi's family owns a zoo, and Pi takes interest in the animals, especially a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker.
After Pi gets dangerously close to Richard Parker, his father forces him to witness the tiger killing a goat.
When Pi is 16, his father announces that they must move to Canada, where he intends to settle and sell the animals.
The family books passage with the animals on a Japanese freighter.
During a storm, the ship founders while Pi is on deck.
He tries to find his family, but a crewman throws him into a lifeboat.
A freed zebra jumps onto the boat with him, breaking its leg.
The ship sinks into the Mariana Trench drowning his family."

Born 22/7?
Jake then mentions Danny Glover resonating with pi, being born on 22/7 and starring in the TV show 'Touch' about a boy named Jake.
I didn't know about this connection to the TV show which I've written about years ago in this old post -
"Touch" the Deadman's Hand Coincidence
There are a lot of interesting actors born on 22/7 when you look over at the IMDB site -

It's all one big cosmic sink hole it seems, but the
last sync video I've seen of Steve's was from 6 years ago exactly with Australia being one day ahead of the USA.

But where is Steve Willner now when it comes to sync?
