#22 Globetrotter Fred 'Curly' Neal Passed Away in 2020 While Globetrotting Was Put on Hold Worldwide?

Legendary Harlem Globetrotters player Fred "Curly" Neal has died

"Curly Neal's number 22 was retired by the Harlem Globetrotters in 2008 as he became the fifth player to receive this honor. Wilt Chamberlain, Marques Haynes, Meadowlark Lemon and Goose Tatum were the others."

Ironically, Curly's number 22 was retired in 2008, which was the Year of the Rat, and now in 2020 another Year of the Rat, Curly passes away.

I saw the Harlem Globetrotters play in my hometown of Brisbane, Australia when I was a kid in the old Festival Hall building.

Festival Hall is no more and now Curly has gone, too.
