I wrote about Tom Hanks being like a real-life Forrest Gump in a recent post, as he just seems to be involved in all the major news stories I see lately -

I saw the passing of Adam Schlesinger from the Covid 19 virus in the news and wondered what movies he had worked on in his career, and sure enough, he was involved in the movie that Tom Hanks wrote, directed and starred in.
I've never watched 'That Thing You Do' before, but the trailer was enough for me to think WTF(?) when I saw toilet paper rolls blowing in the wind from a bus window, Tom Hanks meeting in a Chinese restaurant, and then to cap it all off to tell the band that they look good in black suits -

I know Tom Hanks wasn't in the MIB movie, but Emma Thompson was, and according to the trailer she looked good in a black suit ... and maybe a black umbrella wouldn't have gone astray, either?-)
