BIG 'Silly String'-like Sea Creature Discovered?

"The creature has been likened to 'silly string,' and the outer 'ring' of the creature's body is reporter to be over 47 metres alone.
"It seems likely that this specimen is the largest ever recorded, and in strange
UFO-like feeding posture," the institute wrote.
"It's made of millions of interconnected clones, like if the Borg and the Clone Wars had a baby together.

There are about a dozen different jobs a clone can do in the colony, and each clone is specialised to a particular task," explained Rebecca Helm, a marine biologist who started a Twitter thread to add context to the video.
While the siphonophore is actually most closely related to a jellyfish, it appears as though it could be mistaken for anything from an unusually long rope to a strange ocean swell pattern."
I couldn't help thinking of the 'silly string' scene out of the movie 'BIG' while I was reading the above news story about the 'silly string' like sea creature.
Tom Hanks and the Little BIG House Synch/Sink?
I was coincidentally (are there really ever coincidences in life?-) listening to a 'Conversations' podcast titled -
Julia Baird on finding shards of light in dark times
when I stumbled across the news story of the 'silly string' like sea creature.
And as I was thinking about the 'silly string' scene from the
Tom Hanks movie Julia said in the podcast at that moment,
"...I began to think how important it is to be small, but psychologically we are told a lot of the time to occupy space and be BIG."
That podcast episode is well worth a listen to in these silly dark times we are all swimming in.
And so is this one -
