Sirens and Sheppards?

When I saw this newspaper story above, I couldn't help but wonder what Chris Knowles at 'The Secret Sun' blog would think of a Sheppard also being a siren?

‘Die Young’ was nearly Sheppard’s swan song, says singer George Sheppard

Not that Sheppard's music is my thing, but it would have been a bit of a bummer if 'Die Young' had have been The End;-)

Well, one good thing is that it appears Sheppard haven't yet done a cover version of 'Song to the Siren';-)
